Antler King Showcases Seed Mixes in New Titanium Packaging Material - March, 2013

(Appleton, Wis.) – Antler King® of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, recently upgraded its Red Zone™ product packaging with the help of Flair Flexible Packaging to attract as many human customers as it already attracts deer.  According to Todd Stittleburg, animal nutritionist and Antler King founder, his 20-lb. bags of nutrient-packed Red Zone™ seed mixes for food plots are well-respected for boosting the body weight and rack size of white-tail deer.  It’s the new Titanium ™ multilayer flexible packaging structure from Flair that better showcases the seed mix and its capabilities in hunting and farm supply retailers across the United States and at

“I was searching for a new option that had a shorter turnaround time on orders. When I started looking, I discovered an upgrade from traditional woven bags that would allow us to add graphics all over the bag and even show our high quality seed with a see-through window for the customer,” Stittleburg explained. “The window is so important to help explain what is inside. It really engages the customer, which is what you want at a point of purchase.”

Flair Flexible Packaging’s new Titanium™ material effectively blocks moisture transfer to ensure high seed germination rates.  This same material readily accepts up to 10-color reverse rotogravure printed graphics and offers the option of a transparent window insert for product inspection. The multi-layer laminated structure is formulated to resist the propagation of tears and boasts a distinctly low co-efficient of friction that limits slipping when the bags are palletized.

As packaging consultants, designers and producers, the team at Flair Flexible Packaging works with customers to determine flexible packaging designs to meet any given product’s size, temperature and usability requirements.
