Metallized Films

Flair carries vacuum metalized roll stock films in glossy gold, glossy silver and black that can be slit to custom widths in both our Calgary, Canada and Houston, TX production facilities. These 3 and 4 mil films have seal layers on the printed side of the film and are the perfect option for constructing clear front, printed back pouches where products such as seafood can be seen through the clear front on the black, gold or silver back. The vacuum metallization provides a high barrier to oxygen making the film perfect for use in packaging applications for products that oxidize or turn rancid like coffee, nuts and chocolate. Metallized films are also a perfect option to make T-seal ‘frac packs’ for single servings of coffee and other products.
